What is Google Tag Manager? 

Google Tag Manager is a tag management system that allows you to quickly and easily update measurement codes and related code fragments collectively known as tags on your website or mobile app. ​When Tag Manager is installed, your website or app will be able to communicate with the Tag Manager servers.

Google Tag Manager is a tag management system, in which you attach a code and make your website work. This is one of the best system, in which any widget works without loading on your website's server.

Google Analytics is a website analyzer that tells about your website's performance, keyword ranking and page views. It provides a code for your website, which when installed on your website starts showing every detail of your website in its dashboard. Like how many users came to your site, how long the user was there, where did this user come from and from which operating system did he come.

Google Search Console is a free service offered by Google that helps you monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot your site's presence in Google Search results. Show you which sites link to your website. Troubleshoot issues for AMP, mobile usability, and other Search features.

How to add code to website through Tag Manager? Before going to this, we need to know, how to connect your site in Google Tag Manager and this process can be applied on any website of Blogger and WordPress.

How to connect your website with Google Tag Manager? 

Step 1: First of all, go to the Tag Manager website created by the Google Marketing Platform and click on the Sign In button, sign in with your Gmail account. 
Step 2: Now you will see an empty space in the tag manager, in the center of which the button of create account will be given, click on it.
Step 3: Now a form will open for you to add new account. In which you have to set up the account of Tag Manager, for which you will click on the option of Create by entering the account name, country, container name and details of which platform the product of the container is on.
Step 4: Now an agreement seat of Google Tag Manager will open in front of you, which you have to agree to and then click on the Yes button.
Step 5: As soon as you click on Yes, after that you will get an installation code, in which you have to paste the first code just below the head tag (<head>). And the second code is to be pasted just below the body tag (<body>). And then click on OK.


How to Setup Google Tag Manager for WordPress website? 

Step 1: First of all, login to the WordPress site, now you install the Header Footer plugin in the plugins section (download Header &Footer plugin).

Step 2: Now you have been given by Google Tag Manager, paste the head code in the header and the body code in the footer and click on the Save button.


How to Connect Blogger to Google Tag Manager?

Step 1: Copy the head code into the installation code provided by Google Tag Manager, and paste it on Notepad. Now in this code, do code search (dl=l!='dataLayer'?'&l='+l:'';) and replace with code (dl=l!='dataLayer'?'&amp;l='+l:'';). (Learn more), Now copy the code that came to you and go to the theme option of blogger and paste it under the head section (<head>). 

Step 2: Now you will save by copying the body tag, pasting it under the body in the editor section of blogger (<body>). 

Your website is now connected to Google's Tag Manager. Because I have already done this work, so now let me tell you, how you will tag any product in your website's Google Tag Manager. 

Let us start with Google Analytics, because connecting Google Analytics to any website remains a question for everyone, especially for new bloggers, which I am also solving.

Because this method is for the new blogger, so today I will not talk about any analytics code. I will just copy the HTML code of the analytics and create my tag.

How to Connect Google Analytics to Google Tag Manager?

Step 1: Firstly, go to the Google Analytics website and login with your Gmail.

Step 2: Now select your account in your dashboard. And from there select your property. Now tracking info will appear in front of you, click on it. And copy your tracking code or HTML code.

Step 3: Now you have to come to Google's Tag Manager account and there you have to login with your email id. Now you will see an account here. Open the one you have already created.
Step 4: Now you will see some kind of interface here, which will also show you a tag.
You are seeing the option of 2 tags here, the first tag has a special option. And the other one is in front of you. And there the option of add new tag is showing. So you can add from here or you can also add from there.
Because you are new, then I want to explain you completely and I will show you all the things by clicking on the option of tag menu bar. Now we will click on New button. 
Step 5: As soon as we click on new button. We will see a box for Tag Configuration and Triggering.
Step 6: Once we click on Tag Configuration, we will have a complete list of Tag Templates which we have to scroll down, and click on Custom HTML on Custom option.
Step 7: We'll have an HTML box open in which you can paste the code you copied from your analytics account here.
Step 8: As you proceed by pasting the HTML code, you will see a triggering box like this below.
Step 9: As soon as you click on your trigger box, you will see three options like this. Now here you decide yourself whether you want to monitor a single page or all the pages. Since I am monitoring for all my pages, so I will select all pages.
Step 10: Now as soon as we select the page. You will come to the old window. Where you will name your tag according to you, and click on the save button.
Step 11: Now you are again in your tag section, where the list of your tags will be showing. Here you have to finally click on the submit button.
Step 12: Here you will open a new slide form, in which you have to tell your version name and detail about it. You can also leave it blank if you want, and just click on the publish button. 
Congratulations, your website is now connected to Google Tag Manager through Google Analytics. Now you can see the activities of your website on your Tag Manager dashboard.
Now the question is that if you have done something wrong somewhere in this process, then how to delete this tag.

How to delete a tags from the Google Tag Manager account?


Step 1: As you saw above, first you need to login to Google's Tag Manager. And after that you have to open your account.

Step 2: Now click on Tags section. And all your tag list will start showing. And select the one you want to delete and click on the delete icon.
Step 3: To confirm the delete, you will be asked to click the delete option once again. You click on delete, your tag will be deleted.
Now refresh the account and you will get a deleted one. Congratulations, now you have got over this problem too.
