About Jio Phone 2

Jio Phone 2 mobile was launched in July 2018. The phone comes with a 2.40-inch display with a resolution of 240x320 pixels. It comes with 512MB of RAM. The Jio Phone 2 runs KaiOS and is powered by a 2000mAh battery. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Jio Phone 2 on the rear packs 2-megapixel camera. It sports a 0.3-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.

Jio Phone 2 is based on KAI OS and packs 4GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via SD card card (up to 128GB).

What is KaiOS? 

KaiOS is a mobile operating system, based on Linux, for keypad feature phones. It is developed by KaiOS Technologies Limited; a company based in Kowloon, Hong Kong, with largest shareholder being Chinese multinational electronics conglomerate TCL Corporation.

Is KaiOS an android?

KaiOS does not support Android apps. These apps need to be adapted to HTML5-based apps that can run on the KaiOS platform.

JioPhone has been revealed to bring with it a lite version of Facebook's app and some other Jio apps, however, what its missing out on, is the popular messaging app – WhatsApp – which may not even come to the JioPhone in the future. Step 2: Type Gmail.com website in your browser. And click enter. 

Step 3: Now, you can see two options on gmail website, first login and second signup. Click on sign up for creating a new gmail account.

Step 5: Enter mobile number and verify with OTP.
