How to get instant verified pages on Telegram

How to get verified on Telegram
Getting a verified badge (a blue checkmark) on Telegram is primarily for official public figures and organizations to easily identify their official channels, bots, or public groups. Telegram generally does not verify individual user accounts.

The verification process is handled through an official bot, @VerifyBot, and requires you to meet specific notability criteria outside of Telegram.

Here are the general requirements and steps to get your Telegram channel, bot, or public group verified:

1. Meet the Notability and External Verification Requirements

Your channel, bot, or public group must be active and have a notable, verifiable presence on at least two of the following platforms:

  • Verified Social Media Accounts: You need verified accounts (usually indicated by a badge/check mark) on at least two of these platforms:

  • Linking Requirement: On these two (or more) verified social media profiles, you must add a link to your Telegram channel, bot, or public group in the bio or description section to confirm ownership.

  • Notability Check (Press/Media): You will also typically be asked to provide at least two links to credible press articles that mention you or your organization.

2. Alternative Verification Routes (If you don't have enough verified social accounts)

If you cannot meet the social media requirement, the following can count as one of the missing verified accounts or press links:

  • Undisputed Wikipedia Page: An undisputed Wikipedia page that meets Wikipedia's Notability Guidelines and includes a link to your Telegram channel, bot, or public group.

  • Official Organization Website: For organizations, a link to the Telegram channel, bot, or public group from the official website.

3. Steps to Apply for Verification

  1. Ensure you meet all the criteria (verified social accounts with Telegram links in the bio, press mentions, etc.).
